The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a legal framework that sets guidelines for the collection and processing of personal information from individuals who live in the European Union (EU). Since the Regulation applies regardless of where websites are based, it must be heeded by all sites that attract European visitors, even if they don’t specifically market goods or services to EU residents.

- Add Consent Checkboxes to Contact Form and Newsletter Modules – With this option, you can add consent checkboxes to the contact forms and newsletters alerting the users. This option works only for the modules integrated with Tatsu. Not applicable if you have used a 3rd party plugin such as Contact Form 7, for publishing forms
- Anonymize IP when using Google Analytics – With this option, you can anonymize the IP address of users. This option works only if you have integrated Google Analytics using the option we have provided in the General Settings tab.
