RESTRICT BLOG CONTENT TO JUST A SNIPPET AND ADD A READ MORE BUTTON – #

Use the MORE TAG as shown in the screenshot below, to demarcate the content that needs to be shown in the blog archive page. The entire content will be shown in the respective single post page.

Note:  Incase you are using the BE Page Builder for Blog Posts, or if you are using the Page Builder to construct your blog posts, please note that the more tag will not work. In this case you need to use EXCERPTS. In the edit screen of a blog post, locate the SCREEN OPTIONS panel at the top right corner of the screen and enable the Excerpts meta box and add the snippet of content you want to show in the blog archive page.
